Laura Westfall Bio

My name is Laura Westfall and I am the elementary band director in the Mt. Pleasant Community School District. I give band lessons at the elementary schools and direct the 5th grade band and do the same at the Middle School for the 6th grade band. I also direct Mt. Pleasant High School's Jazz II.

 

I am excited to be working with the 5th and 6th grade bands this year. I hope to provide all students with the opportunity to participate in band and experience the rewards of creating music. Participating in music teaches responsibility, how to work as a group, and a physical, emotional, and mental skill set all at once. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
