Courtney Cummings Bio

Hi, I am so excited to be a part of the Mt. Pleasant Community School District!  I teach K-5 Vocal Music at Lincoln and 3-5 Vocal Music at Harlan.  My goal for music is that each and every one of my students will appreciate music and gain a passion for it!

My music teaching background is unique.  I have taught in public schools to Pre-Kindergarten-12th grade students in both the vocal and band side of music.  I love working with all ages, but my favorite part about teaching elementary aged students is that I get to introduce them to music.  How awesome is that?   I am confident that we will have a great experience in music together.  Please reach out to me if you have any questions!
